The Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown is a national cultural hub celebrating Canadian visual and performing arts. Home to the renowned Charlottetown Festival, it offers theatre productions, art exhibitions, and engaging programs year-round.

Current Shows (Sobey Family Theatre)

• Tell Tale Harbour: A heartwarming, East-Coast musical comedy co-created and starring Alan Doyle. Running June 14 – August 29 .

• Million Dollar Quartet: A high-energy jukebox musical featuring classics from Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. Running June 17 – August 30 .

These are the flagship productions featured in the main Sobey Family Theatre.

In addition, there are Island-led performances at The Mack venue, offering a vibrant lineup that includes comedy, music, and Indigenous storytelling .

The Charlottetown Farmer’s Market is a non-profit co-operative established under the Co-operative Associations Act of Prince Edward Island.  To offer a co-op market where local farmers, makers, and artisans can sell their locally created goods in a community-oriented sustainable, and forward-thinking environment for

In  1990,  the  federal   government   designated St. Dunstan’s Basilica a National Historic Site of Canada citing it as one of the most elaborate churches in the Maritimes and a fine example of High Victorian Gothic Revival architecture.

Situated on historic Great George Street near Province House with spires reaching the highest points on the city skyline, it is the most visible landmark of the city.

The parishioners of St. Dunstan’s and residents of the community are proud of the historical and spiritual significance of this Basilica and contribute generously to preserve it.

Following the devastating fire in 1913, Roman Catholics throughout the province and other members of the community donated generously to support the reconstruction. It is as a result of similar generosity today, that parishioners are able to maintain its original grandeur.
